Jennie’s class is about the joy of learning. I love to learn! I get nearly as much satisfaction from formal classes, traveling, reading, or just having a conversation. The world holds an amazing array of lessons and experiences. To make sense of them I like to reflect, connect, and capture the relevancy of my observations into some sort of record. I learn best when I teach, even if the lesson is only for myself. However, a conversation and the exchange of ideas and perspectives is my absolute favorite passtime. Sometimes when I come back I get more the second or third time around. This is why I write. You will find this to be a very eclectic collection of tidbits from religion, philosophy, literature, science, and homespun wisdom. You might say “things I’ve learned from the best” and the “best” is people all around me who have filled my mind with wonder and the joy of life.
